The company Doma was established in 1989 when the first democratic reforms started in the USSR and private entrepreneurship was permitted. The official registration date of Doma SIA - Mother Company of Domagroup is 1991, when it was reregistered as Limited Liability Company. Owners was and still are physical persons most of whom are still working in the company.
On 1993 Doma SIA started our current line of business - full range of laboratory supplies including measuring instruments, equipment, furniture etc. As since those times the economy level in our country have increased seriously, focus of our main activities have moved from small items and simple equipment to more sophisticated instruments and systems including technology equipment.
 
On 1996 the daughter company VilDoma UAB was established in Vilnius, Lithuania and EstDoma OÜ in Tartu, Estonia. With that we completed our short-term aim to cover whole Baltic market, as local, single country markets are not large enough to raise interest in the large equipment manufacturing companies to be represented here on Baltic market. Starting with 2004 we are step by step introducing the Domagroup name on the market beginning with supply-side partners.
