ICP-OES spectrometer iCAP6300
The requirement for “routine analysis” can mean systems of limited flexibility, unable to effectively cope with shifts in analysis needs or regulatory changes. Not so the iCAP 6300 system. Utilizing the latest design techniques, the world's most compact ICP system is not only ideal for routine use but also able to expand its capabilities as circumstances dictate. • An all-new, high resolution echelle spectrometer results in a compact system, minimizing laboratory space demands and reducing purge gas needs. • Ducted airflows and active water cooling (to within 0.1 °C) ensure a very stable spectrometer, making possible extended analytical runs. • Small does not, however, mean lower performance or difficult to use. The large sample compartment makes fitting and adjusting the torch and sampling modules incredibly easy. • Optimized sampling modules simply plug in with no connections to be made. They allow the iCAP 6300 to handle all sample types with ease. • This is enhanced by the new and efficient 27.12 MHz solid state power supply, which has the high power and stability needed to cope with even the most difficult samples. • A 3-channel 12-roller pump, with its unique drain sensor, provides smooth, low noise signals and safe operation. • There is the option of selecting Radial or Duo (Radial/Axial) view versions of the instrument, depending on your requirements. • An upgraded CID86 chip (Charge Injection Device) allows free choice of wavelengths over the complete 166 - 847 nm range. It is more stable, has less noise and better dynamic range than previously. Nondestructive readout allows optimum signal-to-noise measurements at all concentration levels. iTEVA software The iCAP 6300's iTEVA software is very easy to use, aided by its familiar browser style interface, and automates much of the system set-up and optimization. To run an analysis simply call up a stored method, fill in the autosampler loading guide (if used), ignite the plasma and after stabilization run the analysis. Method development could not be easier, aided by the intelligent optimisation routines. Password protected log-on and multilevel user permissions, together with locked methods, ensure only those entitled to make changes can do so. All results are stored using Microsoft's SQL Server™, including the method used to measure them. Comprehensive data reporting is provided by Crystal Reports. This allows for very flexible reporting of data. Customized report templates can be used. Operating an autosampler with the intelligent software enables the laboratory to maximize efficiency. For example, StepAhead and IntelliRinse functions minimize run times, saving up to 30 seconds per sample. Comprehensive QC checks can be programmed to ensure data quality. Technical specification
