ClydeHSI are specialists in hyperspectral imaging and optical spectroscopy, and provide a wide range of both hyperspectral and conventional spectroscopy instruments and full systems. All of their products are supported by leading software for data acquisition, analysis and display.

ClydeHSI mission is to provide each and every one clients with a complete, end-to-end hyperspectral imaging solution, each designed and rigorously tested to ensure robust, reliable, accurate and repeatable hyperspectral imaging measurements across a range of academic and industrial applications.

During the last three decades, hyperspectral imaging (HSI) has grown from being an expensive research-oriented technique to one that is applicable for a wide range of scientific and industrial applications such as in food production, during forensic analysis, art and art conservation, environmental monitoring, and many others.

The ability of hyperspectral imaging to identify and quantify materials in a non-destructive and non-invasive manner has led to uptake in many interesting applications, and has allowed it to be developed into a fast and reliable technique to - for example - measure, inspect, grade and sort food products, analyse chemical composition of pharmaceuticals, analyse degradation in the most fragile artwork, and even identify rare earth elements based on their spectral features.

The applications of hyperspectral imaging are wide ranging and ever-expanding. ClydeHSI complete hyperspectral imaging systems are used in a diverse range of application areas:

  • Food quality assessment
  • Art & art conservation
  • Forensic Analysis
  • Chemical imaging
  • Colour measurement
  • Change detection
  • Industrial quality control
  • Inspection
  • Materials identification
  • Medical and pharmaceuticals
  • Recycling
